City On A Hill - canvas

This artwork draws its inspiration from Matthew 5:14, where Jesus says, "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden." The illuminated city symbolizes the visibility and influence of a life lived in accordance with Jesus' teachings. Just as a city on a hill is seen by all, believers are called to shine their light before others, reflecting God's love and truth. The elevated position of the city signifies the elevated calling of Christians to stand out in the world, providing guidance, hope, and a beacon of God's grace.

I hope this piece serves as a powerful reminder of the responsibility to live boldly and visibly in faith, impacting the world with the light of Christ.
