These are the perfect item for your home; my handmade match strikers were wheel thrown and then glazed to allow the natural clay to be exposed, this ideal area to strike a match on. These strikers hold approximately 60 matches and must be used with STRIKE ANYWHERE matches. STRIKE ANYWHERE MATCHES NOT INCLUDED ( they can be purchased at ace hardware or Home Depot) I try my best to make each piece as close to the other as I can, however, slight variations in size, shape, and surface should be expected and embraced.  - Speckle Clay
